FRAMED!!

Hey it's been a little long time! I've been quite busy lately. I made 2 other cows and 1 baymax for my friends. :) :) and also at this time I am making something with paper clay! I will show you later when it's done because it requires a lot of time to work with. I will also tell you the step by step later, just wait for it okay??

The other good news is my latest project "Girl Illustration on Clay" is now got framed! I really love this wooden frame! The colour is perfect and beautiful in contrast with my artwork inside. Here, take a look!

What do you think? :)
Anyway, If you are interested to make a custom made based on this artwork, please comment below or send me an email!

Girl Illustration with clay

I love making illustration and I also love making clay. I cannot choose which I one I love, because I love them equally. Making clay keep me balanced and help me not to get frustrated on what I should be doing. Since I've been making clay for order, I took it more seriously and put a pressure to make it look the best. :) :)

So this is my little getaway by making an illustration from a clay.
The clay I'm using here is DAS white clay. I have been keeping this clay for 2 years and I thought maybe I should use it soon before it get hard. Basically, I don't really like this paper clay because it has a strong smell, and a bit difficult to mold to make a detail, so I made a simple thin round clay for the base of my painting which is fine for this clay. Let's see how it's turn out:

Cute book alert : Acoustic Life 1

Hello! How was your holiday? Did you spend it wisely or on the contrary? I have been trying to spend my holiday time wisely by reading a book. I also love to spend my time on the mall and then jumped into a book store! Book store is one of my favorite place where I can see so many things from books to stationery in beautiful colours and different shape which make me feel relaxed and happy everytime I stepped in. I love to look around and swept everything that insterest me.

And.. I found this super cute book! The title is "Acoustic Life 1" by Nanda. This book is about daily life of a woman with his husband in Korea. Even though this book is about husband and wife, it doesn't mean that this book is only for adult, because this book is fun with illustrations and the story is telling us about silly things in her life such as her ability to sleep for 20 hours, about her gamer husband and anything else.

What I love from this book is the illustration! It is very simple but detailed. I also love the colour used in this book :) This book is enjoyable at anytime, anyplace since it's really easy to read!

I hope I can find another book as fun as this one again someday!

Christmas is over :(

It's 5 day after christmas! Time flies really fast isn't it?

Well that's okay if christmas is over because we will have it again next year right? :)
So here it is I am going to share you my christmas project : stickers and scarf!
My knitting scarf took about one a half years to make. It took a really long time for me as I only did it during my holiday at home ( I didn't bring my knit to Bandung because I don't think I will have enough time for that) :P I am super happy with the result! yay.. :)

 How to make stickers:
1. Draw on any paper. If you are using watercolor, then water color paper is a better option.
2. Scan your drawings
3. Print it on sticker paper. There are many kinds of sticker paper, for my stickers I choose the ordinary one (just like a regular paper on surface). However you can choose if you want to print it on transparent sticker paper.
4. Cut it!
5. It's done

Now you can share your stickers to your lovely friends and family!

This is the scarf that I told you! I made this scarf from 2 different yarns. The first one is from Martha Stewart and the second I forgot the name (oops). When the first yarn was over, I was going to buy the same yarn, however the didn't have it on the stock so I had to purchase another yarn. Then I took that super nice yarns with that fabulous looking color of lavender, purple, shocking pink and baby pink in one yarn! How amazing is that huh? :)

And this one necklace I made from a really beautiful yarn I got from my BFF's grandma. How come? It just happened. Haha!  One day I brought my pink knit scarf to my BFF's home and I met her grandma. She loves knitting and she knits way soooo much better than me. So she gave me the yarn and 2 sticks and one stopper. (She is super nice. I couldn't even ask for more)

After I finished my pink knit scarf, I was so excited to make a new one. I took the yarn and I tried to knit it, but I failed. It was too difficult because there are so many strings which confused me a lot. Rather than I cut it or undo it, I decided to make a necklace out of it and it turns out nicely! I didn't have a necklace chains at a time and I think black ribbon is ok for a short time. I am definetely looking for a chains now :)
